Love in Nature

Kelly Abbiss WINNER (1)

Love is everywhere in nature – can you capture it? That’s what we asked budding photographers this Spring. Our photo competition aimed to find the most beautiful examples of love in nature – and raise awareness of all we love in nature that could be affected by climate change.

The competition was judged by none other than world renowned wildlife photographer Simon King OBE.

Simon said:

“We all benefit from being reconnected to the real world; the blossom, the bugs, the birds, the beasts! We are all the healthier and the richer for it. And, once we are reconnected with the natural world, we love it more, we respect it more, care for it more and appreciate the central role it plays in our very existence.”

The image that best captured Simon’s heart was Kerry Abbiss’ beautiful shot of field mice. You can see a gallery of the winner and all the runners up here.
